YAMATO programmable natural convection oven DVS403

Introduction to the Yamato DVS403 programmable drying oven

The Yamato DVS403 programmable natural convection drying oven is a 99 L heating and drying unit manufactured by Yamato (Japan), dedicated to airflow-sensitive samples. The unit operates within a temperature range from ambient +5°C to +260°C using a 1.2kW stainless steel pipe heater and a precise PID control system. Its modern design combined with a stainless steel chamber reliably meets strict heat treatment requirements in research and testing.

Outstanding features

• Natural convection mechanism provides gentle drying and heating, preventing the dispersal of powder samples or air-sensitive samples.
• Flexible programmable control system with 6 operating program patterns (up to 30 steps), supporting repeat, hold step, and power failure auto-recovery functions.
• Durable stainless steel interior chamber, heat-resistant electrogalvanized steel exterior with powder coating, and safe glass wool insulation.
• Equipped with a 3-layer tempered glass viewing window (250×280 mm), a K-type thermocouple sensor, and a top exhaust port with 30 mm inner diameter.

Applications

• Drying, heat treating, and temperature testing for powder or thin samples sensitive to airflow.
• Thermal stability testing of components and materials following pre-programmed heating and cooling cycles.
• Applied research and teaching at universities, testing institutes, and analytical centers.
• Quality control of raw materials and products in industrial manufacturing facilities.
